Want to quilt your quilt top with our BERNINA Q-Series machines? This is the first step on that path! In this four-hour class, you will learn how to operate the BERNINA Q20 and Q24, prepare your top to be quilted, and practice your shapes. Students will practice on sample quilt sandwiches during class—we will practice for when you quilt your own quilt project!
After taking this class, you will be able to rent either our Q20 sit-down or Q24 frame longarm machines by the hour. During your first rental session, Kali will help you get set up and started on your project. Additional rental time is $25 per hour.
Please note that this class does not cover straight-line quilting, Q-Matic, or computerized quilting.
Skill level: Advanced beginner. Students should have some familiarity with quilting.
