Cuddle Up with BERNINA

Welcome to a hands-on, 2-day workshop featuring BERNINA’s top L8 series sergers and Shannon Fabrics’ irresistibly soft Cuddle® minky fabric! Bring a friend or partner for double the fun as you enjoy BERNINA ’s L8 serger and discover techniques for perfectly finished projects.

Day 1: Getting Cozy with Cuddle
The workshop begins with the essentials: How to handle, cut, and serge Shannon Fabrics’ signature Cuddle®. Attendees will explore the differences in fabric qualities and get a solid introduction to the BERNINA L8 Series Serger. The day includes a beginner-friendly Infinity Scarf everyone can wear home. This project builds comfort with key serging techniques!

Day 2: From Cuddly Blankets to Stylish Pillow
Attendees will complete two take-home projects: a soft, luxurious lap blanket and a coordinated envelope-style pillow including a Shannon Fabrics brand pillow form. These projects reinforce skills from Day 1 and introduce new techniques while offering beautiful, giftable results.

This event was specially designed with non-serger owners in mind and is extremely beginner-friendly. If you’ve ever considered bringing a serger home but needed more hands-on experience before taking the plunge, this event is for you!
