How long will it take for my order to be processed and shipped?
We try to get orders out as quickly as possible, but give ourself a window of 3-5 business days to get your items picked, packaged and on their way to you.
What is your return policy?
We accept returns on items that are damaged or incorrect, and will either send you out new items after we receive the damaged goods (shipping on us!) and either send you out new items or refund the sale. We do not except returns on cut fabric, needles, books, magazines and patterns. All other returns must be done in a 30 day window of purchasing, and customer is responsible for all shipping costs. If returning in-store you must have your original receipt present. All refunds are given in store credit in a form of a gift card.
What if something says Out of Stock? Will you get more in?
We try to have new and exciting things all the time. Some of our items we can reorder anytime (yarn, tools, notions, etc.), but somethings are a one-time item (apparel, quilting fabric, precuts, magazines etc.). If you have a question about a particular item, please email us at info@pintuckandpurl.com and we can tell you whether or not it will be something that we will carry on a permanent basis.
In the case of classes, once a class is sold out, there are no more seats available. We always have a wait list for all our classes, so shoot us an email or give us a call to be added to any waitlist.
I have a new machine and I want to learn how to use it. Do you have a class for that?
Yes, we do! Look at our class listings for Machine Basics. This will cover all the basics that you will need (threading, winding bobbin, etc) and you will make a cute pin cushion too!
Do I have to bring my own machine to class?
You can if you like! We always have our BERNINA classroom machines available for free for class use. If you would prefer to use your own, no problem! Just give us a heads up so that we can clear a space. The only other thing we ask is that you know how to run and operate your machine, unless you are coming to a Machine Basics class! Our instructors will not have time to teach you this in our scheduled classes.
Is there an age limit to your classes?
Yes. All our classes are listed for students 16 years of age and up. If a class is labeled "Kids Class" then our students must be between the ages of 8-15.
I signed up for a class and now I can't make it! What do I do?
By signing up for any class, you are agreeing to our class policies. Please refer to the this for all refund information. To able to offer these classes, pay my instructors accordingly, and make sure everyone who wants to attend has the chance to, there are no excpetions to these policies.
What do I need to bring with me for service?
Please bring your machine, power cord, and foot pedal. Please make sure you have a zig-zag presser foot and zig zag needle plate on the machine. If you do not have these things, we might to be able to perform a full service.
What brands do you service?
We are certified as BERNINA Technicians, but do service all brands! For just a tune-up, we can help. For a repair, we maybe limited to the parts we are able to access. If this is your case, we suggest you take it your closest certified dealer.
What if I want to trade in my machine after service?
If you decide to trade-in your machine that has been serviced by us within the past 30 days, we will happily apply the service charge to your new BERNINA or bernette.
