Foundation Paper Piecing is a quilting technique that utilizes paper templates as a foundation to precisely sew together fabric pieces, thereby creating a complex quilt block. FPP allows for intricate designs, sharp points, and accurate seams.
In this two-day class, we’ll create a unique Cardinal 12” block that can be further used to make a pillow, wall hanging, or the beginning of a larger project.
Skill Level: Beginner
Skills Required: Experience with rotary cutter and sewing a 1/4" seam

Supplies Needed:
- Fabric:
- A variety of colors and textures for your Cardinal will be available for separate purchase as a small kit from the shop.

You are welcome to bring scraps of your own colors to use for your project. Scrap pieces should measure approximately 6" x 12" of each shade, a bit bigger for the ‘branch’ and 1/2 yard of background fabric.
