Enhance your stranded colorwork skills as we knit the Alpine Bloom Hat by Caitlin Hunter of Boyland Knitworks. In this class, we will learn how to swatch and measure gauge for colorwork knitting, how color dominance affects our knitting, how to knit stranded colorwork in the round, and how to work colorwork on either double-pointed needles or with the magic loop method.
Note that the colorwork pattern is worked from a chart (no written instructions).
Skill Level: Advanced
Supplies you provide: Needles and sport weight yarn as specified in the pattern, including preferred needles for small circumference knitting (DPNs or magic loop).
Recommended yarn: Fleck by Woolfolk, one skein each of two colors.
