Is this for expert sewists only?
Not at all! We design our classes intentionally to be both beginner-friendly and expert-inspiring. We'll offer plenty of opportunities for people at every skill level to learn new things.
Should I stay at the Ashworth by the Sea?
It's completely your choice! It's convenient for those traveling from farther away, and it will save you back-and-forth travel after a full day of learning & fun.
Do I need to bring anything to class?
Everything is provided, including lunch! You can bring a notebook for notes if you like.
How should I dress for the event?
This is a casual event with hands-on learning, so wear whatever you're most comfortable in! We also recommend layers, as the hotel may be chilly.
Are all supplies really provided?
If you have a favorite pair of scissors that you just can't sew without, bring those! Otherwise, yes, all supplies will be provided.
Will I have my own machine?
Students will be working on B 990s, two to a machine. This is a great opportunity to bring a friend! We will ask registrants whether they have a partner preference.
