Tuffets are a touch of whimsy for your home that blends with all decors and bridges the gap between design and function. In addition to being heirloom home accents, they make treasured gifts for special occasions including weddings, new babies, anniversaries, and special birthdays.
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner
Skills required: Students should be comfortable using their sewing machine
Supplies You Provide:
- Top Fabric: Choose 8 quarter yard cuts or a jelly roll -- Fabric must be cut into 64 (2"x21") or 32 (3"x21") strips. The pictured example is the 2" option, choose the 3" option for wider stripes and a quicker sew.
- Bottom and Button Fabric: an 18" square of fabric for the bottom of the tuffet and a 6" square for the button

- Tuffet Source Printed Fusible Interface Pattern: must fuse to muslin prior to class.

Tuffet Furniture Quality Finishing Kit will be available to purchase from the instructor for $150 (17” diameter wood round, drilled ands anded, upholstery foam, 18” circle/ 6” deep, Dacron batting 40” square, half dome 21/2” button form, t-nuts, 25 upholstery tacks, upholstery tacks, gathering cords and your choice of bun feet.)
