Shelter is one of our favorite woolen spun yarns. Spun up the road in Harrisville, New Hampshire, this rustic beauty can adapt to different gauge and give you a dense sport weight or bloom to cohere as a gauzy fabric when worked on large needles. Garments will benefit from wet blocking, when the most intricate of cables will pop from the lightweight fabric. It's ideal for sweaters of every variety, winter accessories, and blankets.
In the Shelter yarn line are three marled colorways: Newsprint, the combination of Fossil and Cast Iron; Narwhal, the combination of Sweatshirt and Fossil; and Caribou, the combination of Barn Owl and Fossil.
