Learn mosaic knitting as we make the Pressed Flowers Kerchief by Amy Christoffers. Mosaic knitting is a colorwork technique in which only one yarn is used in each row. It is much easier to work than stranded colorwork, but it yields beautiful results! The pattern contains both written instructions and charts, so this is the perfect project to learn how to work from a knitting chart. Students will also learn how to increase and decrease in mosaic knitting.

Skill Level: Intermediate
Skills Required: Students should be comfortable casting on, knitting, purling, slipping stitches, and working basic increases and decreases (m1, ssk).
Supplies Needed:
- One ball in each of two colors of a DK or worsted weight yarn (2 balls total). We love Cozy by Kelbourne Woolens or Far from Woolstock for this project!
- US 6 (24") circular needle
