In this class, we will learn to knit the Sophie Scarf by Petiteknit. This class is perfect for the beginning knitter who has already completed the Learn to Knit introductory class and is ready to knit their next project. Join us to knit this chic accessory while building your knitting skills!
This class will cover how to read a knitting pattern, how to knit with circular needles, how to knit an integrated i-cord, how to slip stitches, how to increase and decrease in garter stitch, how to weave in ends, and how to keep track of your increases and decreases while following a pattern. Students may choose to knit either the small or large size for this scarf.

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner
Skills Required: Students enrolling in this course should be comfortable casting on, binding off, and making the basic knit stitch
Supplies Needed:
- Yarn: 101-140 yds DK weight yarn (We love Acadia for this project!)
- 24" Circular needle in US 4 (3.5 mm)
- Notions: stitch markers, row counter, tapestry needle
