This pattern is based on a classic houndstooth motif, a nod to Sherlock Holmes’ famous cap! Join quilter Kerin Ferrin for this one-day class to decipher the pattern and make a Sherlock quilt of your own. The pattern has a six-color AND a two-color option and can be made in four sizes.
By the end of the day, you will be comfortable with the techniques necessary for making this quilt and well on your way to completing your own Sherlock Quilt.
Class techniques will include cutting yardage, strip piecing, perfecting 1/4” seams, template cutting, and block piecing. A small two-color version is currently on display at the shop. A large throw, a six-color version, will be on display at the shop by mid-February.
