It is time to dive into garments! We will make Dress #1 from 100 Acts of Sewing to whet your whistle for filling your wardrobe with you-made-clothes. You will learn how to read a printed pattern, cutting skills, basic garment construction, and how to sew on bias binding. You will leave at the end with an easy-wearing dress that was made by you!
Pre-class prep: trace pattern and wash and dry your fashion fabric before class
Skill Level: Beginner (must have completed Machine Basics, or equivalent)
Supplies You Provide: 100 Acts of Sewing Dress No. 1 pattern, thread, washed fabric, optional pre-made bias binding
